tailing line drive to secure the win.

video)
- Sept 17 - Decimated by injury, illness, and
political red tape, the NY Midgets held a 2-2 tie

7th inning. Mikey had pitched an incredible
game but gave up one final run in the last inning.
ICBA added a few more to run the score to 7-2.

In the 6th inning, the ICBA starting pitcher was
ejected from the game under obscure Baseball Canada rule

2008.

the tying run. Mississauga broke out in the
7th inning to run up the final score to a deceiving
9-2. Statistics

Prasana for the final two outs.
- July 10 - NY Midgets tied Newmarket AAA 1-1 in

Oshawa tournament 7-2 against Clarington.
- July 8 - NY Midgets defeated the Team Ontario
Women 12-1 in seven innings. NY pitchers
walked nine batters and hit five more batters with
pitches - but still held the Women to only one run.
- July 10 - During winter workouts in February, NY
Midgets players were tasked with predicting five
landmarks of the season - with small monetary awards
available for each closest prediction.
Harrison correctly guessed the player who would
score our first run (AJ). No player correctly
guessed the first opponent against whom we would
score ten runs (Whitby T2). The other three
landmarks - Daniel M's 10th walk, Matt R's 3rd
stolen base, and Andrew Z's 10th batter struckout -
were all predicted by Daniel M who guessed July 10th
for each achievement. Matt R stole three bases
on June 29th (Daniel's guess of July 10th was the
nearest), Andrew Z struckout his 10th batter on July
10th (Daniel's guess was perfectly accurate) and
Daniel himself walked for the 10th time on July 10th
(Daniel again guessed the exact date).
