TEAM HIGHLIGHTS and WEBSITE UPDATES

• June 28 - Justin F, Robin, Dean, Jerrome, Chris, Andrew M, and Andrew T will represent NY in the annual Toronto METS tournament this week.  Schedule (.xls)   Statistics

• June 28 - As part of the METS tournament, Team Nova Scotia 19u is playing Team Quebec 19u on Wednesday night at Bond.  Start time is 7:15pm.  This should be a great game to watch on Canada Day!

• June 28 - Jake Mooney returned to the NY Midgets 18u to pitch two innings in a game against the Ontario Women.  Jake also homered in his first at-bat in more than eight months.  Thomas and Andrew T also connected for homeruns before the game was canceled after three innings due to field conditions.

• June 28 - Father's Day pictures are posted.  Thanks to all the Dads for coming out !

• June 27 - Game added vs. Ontario Women for Sunday July 28th at 1:00pm at Bond.   Arrive for 12:00pm and wear blue.

• June 27 - Andrew Z and Andrew M took the lead in our season-long fielding competition - with fielding percentages of 868%.   Close behind is Justin S with 861%.

• June 25 - Saturday practice time changed to 10:00am.

• June 25 - North York Midgets 18u banged out fifteen hits but ended up tied 10-10 with the Etobicoke Rangers.  Robin finished the game with four hits - one hit away from the NY Midget single game record.  In his final at-bat, with a chance to tie the record, Robin was intentionally walked.

• June 15 - NY Midgets have started a raffle!  Leafs tickets (gold seats against any opponent) are the main prize.  Fundraising page updated.
